Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase 2026: A recap

Highlights from 2026s edition of Europe’s largest recruiting event for college tennis

We mark another successful Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase! Our 2026 edition in Frankfurt, Germany, showed once again why it’s Europe’s most renowned recruiting event for players dreaming of earning a tennis scholarship in the US. Curious about this year’s numbers and showcase highlights? We’ve got everything covered in our recap!

Impressive showcase numbers and a new venue

Between a new venue and a full weekend of matchplay, the 2026 tennis showcase delivered on and off the court. The numbers speak for themselves:

  • 101 players participating
  • 136 college coaches attending (in person + virtual)
  • 186 matches played

For the first time, the Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase was hosted at the Hessischer Tennis-Verband in Offenbach (Frankfurt), Germany. The facility offers 12 outdoor courts and 4 indoor courts for the showcase. This provided a perfect setting for a tennis recruiting event with players coming from all over Europe as well as college tennis coaches from the US. Since all showcase matches were recorded and streamed via the platform, coaches unable to attend in person in Frankfurt could still watch and recruit remotely.

Stefan Krämer, Events Manager, commented: “We’ve experienced a fantastic event at our new facility at Hessischer Tennis-Verband in Frankfurt a.M. (Offenbach). Bringing more than 100 players from 19 different nations together, to showcase their skills in an all-US-college-tennis event-experience, fills us with pride.”

Prep Day highlights

As is showcase tradition, the event kicked off on July 9 with the Prep Day. On this day, players got extra activities to help them prepare for the college showcase and their college tennis recruiting journey.

Through workshops and presentations with both coaches and current college players, they gained unique insight into what it’s really like to play college tennis – and what it takes to get there.

To round things out, players also joined a training session with D1 coaches: Rod Ray from Wofford College (men’s tennis) and Ruth Seaborne from University of Maryland (women’s tennis). During their sessions, players got a real feel for what a practice looks like while playing for a college team.

Last but not least, Prep Day participants also received an extra UTR match – on top of the three guaranteed matches during the showcase itself.

3 days with UTR verified matchplay

With the Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase officially getting underway on Friday, the courts were busy from morning to early evening with matches. The tennis showcase brings players and coaches together in one place, and for players hoping to catch a coach’s eye, in-person opportunities like this are rare.

UTR is one of the most important metrics for college tennis recruiting. That is why the Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase guaranteed three UTR verified matches for every player. That gives players the chance to not only step into the spotlight in front of the coaches, but also build their UTR.

On top of this, the matches were also recorded, providing essential material for another key piece of the college recruiting puzzle: the highlight video.

Connecting and meeting with college coaches

UTR, highlight videos, and player skills are important – but just as important is the connection and relationship building between player and coach.

The showcase creates an environment for networking and genuine connection between coaches, players, and their families. It’s a chance for players to introduce themselves face-to-face, and just as much a chance to learn more about a coach’s college program, their university, and what life would look like as part of their team.

Beyond the matches, the showcase was packed with presentations and sessions led by college coaches, current college players, and the Keystone Sports team. These gave players and families a look behind the curtain of college tennis – the kind of insight you simply can’t find anywhere else. Topics ranged from what a typical week looks like as a student-athlete to how coaches make their recruiting decisions.

Saturday evening wrapped up with the Showcase BBQ. Players, coaches, families, and the Keystone Sports team came together for an evening of food, conversation, and connection off the court. Sunday, the final day of the showcase, was all about finishing up matches and making the most of that last chance in front of the coaches.

Reflecting on the event, Stefan Krämer added:

“These days and the feedback we’ve received so far show the huge impact of the Keystone Sports Tennis Showcase in Germany in international recruiting. A huge thank you to everyone being involved on and off the court!”.

Thank you from Keystone Sports

The Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase 2026 is officially over, and what an incredible edition it was!

As one player’s parent shared:

“My son loved every minute of the showcase and has come away feeling completely inspired to aim for the best US college he can get. It’s been a brilliant experience for him.”

And from one of our players:

“I’d like to say a big thank you for the event and for giving me the opportunity to play. I feel I learnt a lot about my own tennis and the college pathway and will definitely recommend the event to my friends in the future.”

Hearing feedback like this reminds us why we do what we do. We’re thrilled that so many players and their families found the tennis showcase both inspiring and valuable as they continue their college tennis journey.

A huge thank you from everyone at Keystone Sports to all the participating players, college coaches, supportive families, and partners for making this year’s showcase such a success. We can’t wait to welcome you back for the 2027 edition of the Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase!
