New partnership: Keystone Sports and Surbiton Hockey Club
A strategic partnership to strengthen field hockey scholarship opportunities for UK players
Keystone Sports, the sports division of Keystone Education Group, today announced a new partnership with Surbiton Hockey Club (HC), one of London’s most successful and prestigious field hockey clubs. The collaboration aims to support players by connecting them with field hockey scholarship opportunities at universities across the USA.
Surbiton HC, based in London, has a long history of excellence in the game, producing numerous national level players and competing at the highest level of domestic field hockey. The club currently competes in the England Hockey League Premier Division and has a membership base of over 1,000 players across all age groups.
Keystone Sports will serve as Surbiton HC’s official US sports scholarship partner, guiding players through the process of securing athletic scholarships at American universities.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Keystone Sports. This collaboration represents a valuable opportunity to further support our athletes in advancing their hockey careers in the US. We’re especially excited to host a series of showcases at SHC and look forward to continuing a strong and long term partnership together.” – Will Fulker, Coaching Director at Surbiton Hockey Club.
Keystone Sports’ expertise in this space was significantly strengthened last year with the addition of Holly Cram and her organisation Aspire USA. Already well known to the Surbiton HC community, Holly brings specialist expertise in helping British field hockey players get recruited for field hockey scholarships at American universities. Her knowledge plays a central role in supporting athletes through the US college recruitment process.
Holly said, “I’m thrilled to continue the partnership with Surbiton HC as Aspire USA evolves by joining Keystone Sports. Our clients now have access to a team of experts at every step of the process, freeing up more time for me to place and extend our hockey offerings. Surbiton HC produces some of the best youth players in the country, many have had a successful career in the US and we’re excited for this next chapter.”
This partnership reflects a growing recognition within UK club hockey that the American university system represents a genuine and exciting pathway, one that offers elite competition, world class facilities, and a fully funded education. Keystone Sports and Surbiton HC are committed to making that pathway as accessible as possible for the next generation of players.
