Highlights of Two Weeks Filled with Soccer Recruiting
After months of planning, the Keystone Sports College Soccer Showcase Tour 2024 was finally underway. Like last year, the showcases were held in different European cities as part of a tour. This event gave players a unique chance to showcase their skills in front of college coaches and improve their chances of earning a soccer scholarship in the USA.
The Keystone Sports College Soccer Showcase Tour 2024 brought together 500 talented male and female players from 10 nationalities and 108 US college coaches. With over 100 games played and more than 200 goals scored, this year’s showcase tour stood out as one of Europe’s largest and most exciting college soccer recruiting events!
Soccer Scholarship Offers at the Nordics Soccer Showcase
The showcase tour began with the Nordic players in Lillestrøm, Norway, between Dec 6 and 8. Over three days, female and male players showcased their skills on the field in front of soccer coaches representing top universities in the U.S – with several soccer scholarships offered to players on the spot!
Beyond the matches and face-to-face interactions with coaches, players attended presentations to learn more about studying in the U.S. and received valuable tips on boosting their recruitment prospects and securing soccer scholarships for college.

Match Action and College Prep at the German Soccer Showcase
The second stop of the tour took place in Hamburg at the Stadion an der Dieselstraße, home to HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst. From Dec 8–12, college coaches carefully observed the showcase matches, which featured exciting plays and promising male and female soccer talents in action.
But the journey to being recruited to play soccer in the U.S. on a scholarship is all about preparation. To support the players’ preparation, the event kicked off with a College Prep Day. This day featured activities designed to provide valuable information and practical resources, such as creating a strong recruiting profile and understanding the requirements for playing college sports while studying in the U.S.
Additionally, Dr. Darren Treasure, one of the two renowned experts behind the Keystone Sports Performance Program, led workshops and presentations to further guide the players.

Stefan Krämer, Head of Events at Keystone Sports, summarizes: “With 144 players participating from 8 different countries, the 16th Keystone Sports Germany Soccer Showcase has been the biggest in our history. It’s been an amazing five days in Hamburg. In addition to the 25 coaches recruiting in-person, more than 80 coaches joined our Virtual Showcase, providing a unique chance for all participants to showcase their skills to a very broad range of coaches from all Divisions.“
Future College Soccer Talent Takes the Stage in Madrid and Oxford
At the same time as the Nordics Showcase took place, the 2024 Keystone Sports College Soccer Showcase was held in Madrid, Spain. On December 6–7, Campo de Fútbol Carabanchel hosted players from across Spain, eager to demonstrate their skills in front of U.S. college coaches. The coaches, in turn, were excited to see Spanish talent in action as they searched for their next recruits to strengthen their college teams.
In addition to the showcase matches, the Madrid event also featured off-field activities designed to prepare players for college soccer and academics in the U.S. On the first day, workshops and presentations offered valuable insights into life as a student-athlete and practical advice on securing a soccer scholarship.
The final stop of the Keystone Sports College Soccer Showcase Tour took place in Oxford, United Kirngdom. This event brought together talented female and male players from across the UK, ready to display their skills in front of U.S. college coaches looking to recruit standout British players for their teams.

The Keystone Sports College Soccer Showcase Tour 2024 brought together 500 talented players from all over Europe, more than 100 experienced college coaches, and invaluable resources about college soccer and studying in the U.S. The event not only highlighted the incredible talent of young soccer players but also provided a platform for them to take the next exciting step in their soccer careers in the U.S.
