New Partnership with Keystone Sports and Absolute Internship
Global Internship Opportunities for Student-Athletes’ Growth and Learning
December 16, 2024
Keystone Sports, the sports division of Keystone Education Group (KEG), and the global internship program Absolute Internship present a new partnership. This collaboration provides student-athletes with the opportunity to explore internships abroad, gaining valuable knowledge, skills, and insights in an international, real-world setting.
The Absolute Internship’s program offers a tailored learning and development experience. Students will grow both professionally and personally during the 4, 8, or 12-week programs which can be conducted both online and in-person. A wide range of internship destinations are available around the world, including Bangkok, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Krakow, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Paris, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Stockholm, and Tokyo, allowing students to immerse themselves in diverse international contexts.
From Business Development to Sports Management, Graphic Design, and IT, Absolute Internship places students in 27 different industries and collaborates with over 1,200 companies worldwide. With such a wide range of options, there is an ideal match for each student-athlete’s field of study, background, and career goals.
Furthermore, through the collaboration with Northern Arizona University, the internship can also be completed for academic credit. This allows students to gain hands-on experience while earning credits towards their degree.
“Our mission has always been to inspire success among students and bridge the gap between education and the professional world,” says Fredrik van Huynh CEO and Co-Founder of Absolute Internship.
“Through this partnership, we’re creating tailored opportunities for student-athletes to develop the skills and professional network essential for their future careers. These experiences will not only help them transition successfully after their sports careers but also increase their employability and make them stand out from their peers in an increasingly competitive job market.”
Keystone Sports is excited about this collaboration with Absolute Internship, which provides a fantastic opportunity for our student-athletes to continue broadening their horizons and gain international exposure.
Engaging in an internship within an international setting allows student-athletes to build on their global perspective, develop practical skills, and stand out in the competitive global job market after graduation. This initiative not only enhances their professional capabilities but also fosters personal growth, preparing them to face challenges and thrive in both their athletic and professional careers.
Kim Moe Krohn, VP Operations at Keystone Sports, said: “We know first-hand how important it is to apply the knowledge you learn in the classroom. An internship does just that. We’re thrilled to work closely with Absolute Internship so that more of our student-athletes will get work experience and build even stronger CV’s. Another step in our plan to prepare our student-athletes on the journey to become successful professionals”.
