2. Why Do Companies Love to Hire Athletes?: Find out the unique skills and qualities that make athletes stand out in professional roles. 

3. The Athlete Lifestyle – How to Maximize Performance: Experts will provide tips on how to optimize your daily routines, training, and mindset for peak performance. 

4. Careers and Pathways in the Sports Industry: Explore the diverse career paths available in the sports industry beyond playing and how to pursue them. 

Meet the Guest Speakers

The fair will showcase 10 exceptional guest speakers, offering a diverse range of experience from various areas of college sports.

  • Dr. Darren Treasure – Expert in sport psychology.
    A prominent figure in sport psychology, Dr. Treasure has provided essential guidance to Olympic and World Champions, NBA players, English Premier League athletes, and members of the United States Women’s National Soccer Team, who won the World Cup. His expertise is vital in helping athletes develop mental toughness and perform at their best under pressure. Director of Mental Performance in the Keystone Sports Performance Program.

  • Clive Brewer – Expert in Athlete Development and high-performance sports conditioning.
    With over 25 years of experience, Clive Brewer is a globally recognized authority in high-performance sports conditioning and athlete development. As the Director of Athletic Performance at OrthoArizona and a worldwide consultant, he has been instrumental in shaping the culture of professional sports programs. Director of Athletic Performance in the Keystone Sports Performance Program.
     
  • Emily Fox – Professional soccer player, Olympic Gold Medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and current player for FC Arsenal.
    A University of North Carolina graduate, Fox was the first overall pick in the 2020 NWSL Draft. She began her professional career with Racing Louisville FC and later played for the North Carolina Courage before signing with FC Arsenal. Fox is also a key member of the U.S. National Team, with 57 international caps, and proudly secured a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

  • Rafael Miroslaw – 2024 Olympian Swimmer.
    Miroslaw is a talented German freestyle swimmer and current student at Indiana University who participated in the Paris 2024 Games. He is an 11-time All-American.

  • Alicia Barnett – Professional Tennis Player.
    Barnett is a British former student-athlete at Northwestern University Graduate. Barnett is currently ranked 174th in the WTA Doubles rankings, with a career-high of 59 in doubles and 450 in singles. 

  • Jan-Marco Montag – CEO of Stanno and Former Professional Field Hockey Player.
    Montag had an impressive career, playing for top clubs in Germany, Spain, England, and the Netherlands. He earned 221 international caps for the German national team, winning the 2006 World Cup and securing an Olympic Gold Medal at the 2008 Beijing Games. Now as the General Manager at Stanno, Montag brings his elite sports experience into the business world.

  • Eythor Bjørgolfsson – Professional Soccer Player.
    Bjørgolfsson, former player at the University of Kentucky Graduate, was selected in the 2023 MLS Draft and played for the Seattle Sounders until March 2024. Currently, he is playing professionally in Norway with Moss Fotballklubb (2nd division), while he works as an Associate Consultant at BDO Norge. 

  • Chase Hodges – Vice President and General Manager of UTR Sports.
    Hodge, a former tennis player at UNC Wilmington, has built a distinguished career in college tennis coaching. With a wealth of experience in developing top talent, Hodges now plays a key leadership role at UTR Sports, helping to shape the future of tennis globally.

  • Carolin Neumann – Nutritionist.
    Neumann is a specialist in youth high-performance sports and health management. She is currently a PhD candidate at Spoho (German Sport University Cologne). With a deep understanding of sports nutrition, Neumann works with athletes to optimize their health and performance, particularly at the youth level.

  • Alex Hyman – Sports Host and Commentator.
    Hyman, with a degree in Sports Media from Cardiff Metropolitan University, has established himself as a dynamic voice in the sports industry, covering major sporting events across various platforms.
